I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy. But I can see enough to glean that there's a strong jaw covered in scruff. A wide mouth that looks like it would be prone to smiling. He's wearing glasses with trendy light tortoiseshell frames, and I can't quite discern the colour of his eyes from my position . . . but some weird intuition is telling me that they'll be hazel, and I wonder when my brain is going to catch up. Because I *know* him, don't I? I'm almost certain of it. And he seems to know me, too. Or at least he thinks he does. The way he's glancing over at me lets me in on that. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mirren Shepherd has *many* pet peeves. Top of the list, though? Staycations . . . And surprises. So when her girls' trip abroad is cancelled at the last minute and she finds herself roped into a minibus tour of Northern Scotland instead, she isn't remotely happy. Looking at him from across the cafeteria my heart just stops. He bites his lower lip slightly as he reads the following words off of his new book, adjusting his hair from time to time. How can someone you've spent all of high school trying to forget still be the one to hold your heart?.. Stop staring! I look away and my eyes focus on something else... He's still the one I love. After all this time. I can't change that.. But he hates you. I wince at the thoughts coursing through me. You don't know that for sure.. Oh who am I kidding? Of course he hates me. If I was him I'd hate me too. A frown makes its way onto my face. Maybe just one more peek.. I glance back at him only to see his blue eyes no longer on the pages of his book but on me. We lock eyes and everything else disappears for a moment. My brown ones widen in shock. Shit! I try to look away but my eyes stay focused on him, and only him. ..Then something amazing happens.. My first ever Large Project. Written back in 2017 during boring class periods, it doesn't have quite the shine I hold myself to nowadays. It's also not the style I wright in anymore. It was really more of a self-insert friend fiction and looking back on it I still cringe of what I thought 16 years old I thought was good. But that's part of art right. Yahtzee Crowshaw once said, "99% of artists hate the work they made in the past and the other 1% are dirty liars." I hate it and cringe but I still have a fond memory of finishing this and letting out a good sigh of satisfaction. Keep in mind that this story will be riddled with grammar and spelling errors. This is for 2 reasons 1. I want to keep this as a time capsule to look at in a few decades and cringe 2. I've already reached my cringe quote for the year.Complete

What will happen when these two meet? What will happen when Adam know that Velina is his mate? Will Velina resist his seducing ability? Will Adam hate her? After all she is his mate... -------- He yanked me closer to him till our breaths became one and our tips of our noses touched. My eyes bulged like freaking saucers and were staring at his hot ones.
