The Battle of Memphis has ended, but it only gets worse and worse as winter draws near. What's going to happen when the zombies finally die off, but the Raiders are only growing more and more powerful? Nobody really knows for sure, but Jeremy isn't going to wait and find out. On top of this, William's injuries are dragging him down, and he's not sure whether it's safe for him to go on. He wants to stay at the camp, but he also knows that it's not going to last much longer, due to the lack of supplies and constant Raider threats. The future only has the answer, and escaping the rapidly cooling weather seems like the most logical choice. But what happens when this winter is the worst one in over fifty years?
