A child was left behind by her parents on the side of a busy street. She was there in the cold and dark night all alone. The child cried and cried yet no one heard. Finally she is found and she has her birth papers and a blanket but that was all. Her parents failed to leave food or a list of things she can't eat or drink, it's as if they had left her there to die since people couldn't really see her near the bushes.
But at last it's as if her life was changing the moment they found her. She could have never imagined that one day she would met someone who would set her free. In the end no one could have known the kind of freedom this person would gift her with. The day she was found and sent to the orphanage is the day her life would finally go to the direction it was meant to be.

From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it.
