One night, Alex knocks on Nicole's window in the middle of the night asking for help, just like he did 4 years ago in middle school, back when they were inseparable. Except, so much has changed since then.
They quickly realize the connection they had when they were kids never faded away. When Alex's life starts to fall apart, Nicole has to find a way to help him before it's too late.
Warning: This isn't a typical love story. It deals with drug and alcohol addiction, suicide, abuse, mental health issues, gangs, and much more. This is not a story where the main characters fall in love and live happily ever after in a few chapters.
