Hanahaki Disease An illness born from one-sided love. The victim coughs up flower petals when they suffer from unrequited love. Flowers slowly grow in the victim's lungs, suffocating them slowly. It starts out with a few petals, then the amount gradually grows until they are coughing up full flowers. The illness can be removed by surgery, however, the person's feeling for their love may also vanish. In rare cases, they forget their love completely. ::TW:: Mental Illness: Depression, Anxiety, Suicidal thoughts, Eating Disorders Blood Language BoyxBoy Thanks to @Fanfic_Hic for the name!

Hanahaki Disease (花吐き病 (Japanese); 하나하키병 (Korean); 花吐病 (Chinese)) is a disease in which the victim coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. It ends when the beloved returns their feelings (romantic love only; strong friendship is not enough), or when the victim dies. It can be cured through surgical removal, but when the infection is removed, the victim's romantic feelings also disappear.
