Ever since she settled in on the desert planet, Rey started training a new order of Jedi, teaching them about the balance of the Force, taking her mind off of what happened on Exegol until after her lessons, because that's when she tries to reach out in the Force to search for him. For Ben Solo. But even after months of trying to reach out to him day after day, Rey still fails, believing he doesn't want to see her. She is frustrated and desperate, and about to give up hope until she finds out about a place existing within the Force, a place existing between time and space: the world between worlds. Could Ben be stuck in the world between worlds? Could he have been alive after all? And can Rey bring him back? All characters and planets are from Lucasfilm/Disney. The fic contains the world between worlds, but I added my own little spin to it. The art is by meadowhayle.

This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version. I am writing this because I cannot STAND the ending of the Rise of Skywalker even though it needed to end that way and it was really well done. If I didn't ship Reylo, I would've loved the ending. Whelp, this is a fanfiction of how I would've liked it to end. I'm going to make it as similar to the movie as I can while adding my own touches (and a Ben Solo) to it. I'm going to start it right after the part where Emperor Palpatine takes Rey and Ben's Lifeforce during their fight on Exogol. I will be changing POVs too.
