There is a famous legend telling the story of a woman. No one knows her age or what she looks like, since she always has a fox mask on her face. They only knew what to do if one ever came across her. Turn and run the other direction. She had been reported to randomly appear while ninjas are on missions and killed anyone who angered, disrespected, or simply annoyed her. You'll know it's her when the world around you seems to go completely silent and only the sound of wind chimes can be heard. She wore a white, grey, and blue fox mask and is said to have short, blue hair. It's said that she is the most powerful ninja to ever live. She has been come to be known as the Queen of Masks, and she has picked a student. Sakura Haruno is about as normal as you can get (other than the pink hair). She's not from a famous clan, and she doesn't have a powerful demon sealed inside of her. She's not a super genius (but she's pretty smart), and she doesn't have a bloodline trait or Kekkei Genkai to distinguish her from the other ninja around her. Never had she been considered more than a pretty face. What she doesn't know is that despite being seemingly completely normal, she has caught the eye of a very powerful person, changing her life, and the lives of many others. "You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. He wore a leather-mans jacket from the school over the t-shirt, with black denim jeans, and converse. I swallowed. I snapped out of it and took the paper forcing myself to say "thanks." However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. We weren't exactly rich but we were richer than average foreigners that lived here. It was all thanks to my parent's new jobs. "So, have you found a job yet?" My father asks. Being 18, I knew I would have to find a job in a matter of months or else I'll possibly get kicked out. I threw away newspapers that were recruiting young people for small minor jobs like becoming a cashier for a fast food restaurant. Or maybe a newspaper boy and a person who puts stuff in the markets. Then I noticed a brochure that went with the newspaper. 'Become a future U.S. army soldier and help us fight in the War in Afghanistan!' "You're the only person who hasn't changed." Her last words still haunt me. But I'm just about to change myself.
