I just want to write about pirates okay.
Have some kinda drunk lesbian pirates.
One is Elizabeth, goes by "Edward". It was the 18th century. If she wanted to get farther in life than her gender allowed, then she'd have to be a he. British. 5'7. Blond. Tanned skin. Green eyes. Long, unruly blond hair. Immensely curly. Tied up in a bun. A tattoo of an anchor on her left shoulder-- however, noone can see it. It's covered up by a loose blouse and leather overcoat. She wears trousers, an old belt and awfully-scuffed-up knee-high boots. There is a small scar just across the bridge of her nose. Freckles cover her cheeks, shoulders and most of her body. Muscular. She's hot-headed, foolhardy and stubborn. Snarky and sarcastic, can be kinda rude. Cynical. Has a bad habit of drowning emotions in rum. Someone help her. A little bit selfish. Swears (haha, literally) like a sailor. Is a total kicker with a sword or pistol, but favors lounging around in the sun than actually plundering cargo and-- oh, just risking her life. Pretends she actually hates everyone but is a little bit of a softy beneath all that rough extieror.
Her lover is Caroline. She is a barmaid. 5'5. Irish. Shoulder-length red hair. A little curly, but tame. Soft, and decently cared for. Fair-skinned. Brown eyes. Petite. Wears a dark-brown corset with little lacy ruffles on the hems, has an over-sized, thick cloth jacket over it. Wears trousers with a belt. Generally friendly, patient. Handles flintlocks quite well. Awful with cutlasses and any sharp weapon of the sort. Good lordy, she swears. Really loves her pirate girlfriend. She just wants to help Elizabeth not be so self-destructive and have some damn self preservation skills. She's smol. Kinda? She has a filthy mouth. (Especially when she gets Elizabeth alone--) Speaking of that, she also has a time fending off really, reALLY drunk pirates when they want a piece of her.
Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd)
Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
