I watch her wake up at the hospital. she was in a coma. shes been asleep for 6 weeks, as I stay here. I still have her notes.
before she woke up I finally had courage to read Notes 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,and 11. It brought me to tears. I already read 1 & 2.
as I see her flutter her eyes open she looked at me. she was confused. Her first words were
" Nathan? Where am I?"

I frowned, thrown off "Do i...remember?" "Do you remember..." she starts but her voice falters. She glances down at the sand, biting her lip debating whether to even continue. She then takes a shaky breath and finally looks up. Eyes locking with mine " do you even remember how you got it?" Her question hits me like a slap. She didn't reply and I felt her finger move across my skin, lower, and almost all the way down my lower back. A shiver coursed through my body, strangely pleasant, and I felt her finger stop. If she touched me again, I wasn't sure that I could keep myself from doing just that. "I'm going to take a shower," I said suddenly in an attempt to escape. She didn't stop me, so I took that opportunity to walk away. When I reached the bathroom, I took a deep breath to steady myself as well as my pulse.
