A mysterious letter appears on Ciel Phantomhive's desk, the writer gushing of toys and treats. It talks of making new toys and meeting the Earl Phantomhive in person, all a young child would dream of. 

Not too long afterward, a girl drenched in rain and tears begs for entrance into the Phantomhive household. Ophelia James takes residence for some time, her heart broken at the death of her family and her body worn from running from her past. 

But something seems off about this mistress. Though she speaks with honey in her words and sugar on her tongue, her eyes spell out a whole different story.
