The story follows Olivia ("Liv"), a dedicated Destiny 2 player who feels an unspoken connection with Cayde-6, the charming, rogue-ish Hunter Vanguard. After one particularly long night of playing and rewatching the cinematic where Cayde meets his tragic end, Liv falls asleep wishing she could change his fate.
