“What do you want?” I clenched my teeth. I was not in the mood for this.
“Just to talk.” He answered with a smile. I couldn’t stand it. He doesn’t deserve to smile at me.
“Why do you want to talk to me?” I stopped and looked straight up at him.
“I want to get to know you, Ivy”
That sentence alone made me snap. “Know me?” I asked in disbelief. “Know me?! You knew me Jack. You knew every little thing about me. You’re the one who ended our friendship, so why all of a sudden do you want to get to know me again?!” I yelled, feeling my hands shake. When he stared down at me but didn’t open his mouth to reply, I knew I won this argument. “You need to piss off, Jack.”
Did he really think I would just let him stroll back into my life? What a jerk.
