“I’m tired of waiting!” I lowered my voice, forgetting that Kayla was asleep in the other room. “You shouldn’t have chosen your mates over your own baby.”

“But you sure was eager to choose John. God only knows what the hell is going on behind my back.” I knew he didn’t mean it, but it still hurt.

So badly I wanted to tell him everything I felt. The baby hadn't been born yet and if he was so absent now, I could only imagine how it would be when the baby actually arrived. Would he even listen now that he suspected an alleged affair?
