Raven lives amongst the Whitestone Pack. Throughout the years of her life she has seen friends and families find their mate. She never understood the pull of the mate, or how a mate bond can bring you as much pain as it does joy. After her parents death she found comfort among the pack and joy from her Alpha and Luna. One day, that joy is severed by a rouge attack upon her Luna. Ravens actions lead her to take leadership for the pack, to act as a crutch for those who have helped her.
Her decision leads to dependency from a broken and increasingly psychotic male. What will happen when Raven finds her mate, and will the pack survive?

I gave a shy smile, filled with hope that he wouldn't take this time to reject me. The thought of losing this male brought tears to my eyes. He couldn't do this. Not now. Not now when I had the chance to be saved after years of hopeful waiting. My males eyes softened and I heard the most attractive voice caress the bond.
"Hello mate."
I choked at the relief of hearing his accepting voice and I would be lying if I didn't tell you but I threw myself at this wolf in front of me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and began sobbing violently into his fur.
