Marinley is a different kind of Mermaid.

She prefers the company of sharks and spends her time protecting sea life rather than spending it with her own kind.

Known to the humans as the "Mermaid Marauder", she's become well-known for destroying ships and outing illegal fishing techniques.

She's a badass-on land AND in the sea.

Sailor Attwater is the son of Manuel Attwater, a well-known fisherman who supplies most of the fish sold along Southern California.

After Sailor's uncle was killed by a shark, he's had an intense fear of water that can't be cured.

Or so he thought.

After his family is stranded at sea, he goes on instinct and uses a gift from a strange girl he met at as a child.

And it works.

Not only is he safe on land, but he also sees a familiar face that he believed he'd never see again.
