Almost a year has passed and Androids are given momentary freedom under the president's authority and have been given the right to be considered as "humans". But even so there are many riots, and protests both peaceful and violent against equal rights for androids run by the civilians in Detroit and across America.
Since the beginning of the android's rebellion you, y/n, are a detective. Yet to this day you are wary of androids, but that all changes once your assigned to assist Lieutenant Anderson and his android partner on cases of homocides and the Red Ice epidemic issue across Detroit.

*Follows the storyline of Detroit: Become Human* You've been working at Detroit City Police Department for a few years, being in the police force had been you're dream job since you were a child. Currently, you investigated human crimes. Recently, you've been given the task of investigating cases involving deviant androids. The sudden change from investigating humans to androids is going to be tough to get used to, but you knew you could handle it. They also decided to partner you up with Hank Anderson, which surprised you considering he hated androids. You had nothing against androids, unlike you're partner, Hank. You had no reason to hate them, they had never done anything to wrong you. Most of them are actually quite nice, not counting the deviants. Hank had always been like a father to you, and like any other human he would easily get upset and angered, sometimes even lashing out on you. You knew that he never meant any of the harsh words, so you stuck by his side. When you were both assigned to the same investigation, you had both decided to go to the bar to celebrate. As the story progresses, Connor begins to question the way humans treat androids. With the help of five year old (Y/n), he will have to make a decision. You knew working at the DPD was risky, but passing as human and hiding in plain sight shouldn't be too hard... until CyberLife sends in a new partner. The android who replaced you. The one designed to find everything you're pretending not to be. And he's very good at his job. It'll take you 5 mins to read the first chapter, give it a try ;) I am very proud of this story! This may be written 7 years after the game's release, but I really hope all of you loyal fans are still looking for more content... My two biggest inspirations for this story: - Deviating and Solving Crime with 100% Human Detective Connor by CaotainKenway on ao3 for the whole android pretending to be a human concept. - Deviant Behaviour by Precursor - just general inspiration because it's my fave dbh fic of all time.
