*I thank Crystal Scherer for the wonderful book that inspired this run off story that takes place in the same universe! I dedicate this story as a gift to her and all her readers!*
Aspen wasn't the only one to be kidnapped and turned into a dragonet, but she WAS the only one who had a something to hide, outside of their human intelligence. Armed with nothing but the wings on her back and the claws on her feet, Aspen did her best just to survive her new environment.
But just as she was starting to get used to her surroundings and her newly acquired skills, the rug is pulled out from underneath her once again. Now with the looming threat of aliens, aliens, and more aliens, Aspen has even more piled onto her already overflowing plate.

It wasn't fair. And knowing that unfairness was just part of life, didn't make me feel any better. Life had dealt us a hand of rotting lemons and all I wanted to do was throw them and make life take them back. But I couldn't. I was stuck with these rotting lemons and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get rid of them.
(Quick disclamer: Most characters within this story are my own. The universe is not mine. I might have slipped from cannon an intsy tiny bit. My story in no way rips off Crystal Scherer's original story of Upon Wings of Change. Only builds upon it. Please read the original before reading this side story or else it might not make a whole lot of sense. Also read the original because it's AMAZING.)

A Wings Of Fire story that takes place in the depths of the Sky'wing Kingdom, following the story of a powerful hybrid dragonet who has to fight in the infamous arena regularly for most of his life, until... ? This a story based on the book series Wings Of Fire, obviously. In this universe, most of the canon events didn't happen, and are instead replaced by my own original stories and characters. No canon characters from the books exist in this world. There is at least one fantribe in this world, that fantribe belonging to me. Mud'wings don't exist in this world, because i have an unexplained hatred for them. It was just a normal day for Dawn like every other day she went to school and came home. This time it's different she won't be going home, instead she will end up in a cave with a Dragon. The Dragon gives her two choices to be executed in front of the whole tribe or to stay. She wants to leave but she knows the consequences of escaping but instead of escaping she stays. -------------------------- No one in the small town of Diamond knew what happened, they thought she ran away or worse they thought she died some tragic death, now one of them knows what happened but who?. -------------------------- "We need to find her and fast!". "But, Mayra a dragon took her it couldn't have gotten that far right?". A voice asked her, cowering In the darkness of her stone house. "We ask it or them what happened". Mayra said, her gem necklace rested firmly on her neck. "But how do we do that?". The voice questioned while still in the darkness of her house.
