Marline was adopted when she was young. She's never met her biological parents, and has nothing to remember them by. Her adoptive parents are completely against her ever meeting them, even telling them they must pay up if they ever want to see her again. Stressed, upset, and confused, she texts the first person in her contacts she finds. Of course, it's her crush, Brandon. Not meaning to, she drags him into the mess and soon learns there's more to just her and Brandon. Something supernatural. Something magical. What is this power? Why don't her adoptive parents want her to meet her biological parents? Will she and Brandon get together? *Multiple points of view **Ongoing story-it's not over yet! ***Needs to be rewritten-so bare with me

"Clearly, I didn't want anyone involved." "When are you going to realize you shouldn't do things all by yourself?" "When it proves untrue." ~*~ Since the paranormal world banded together, the teenagers have worried about school and finding their potential soulmates. However, when humans are on the verge of discovering their existence, a new enemy leaves them watching their backs. Sephora Parker had been doing so all her life. Amongst the humans' discovery, the young teen found herself free of one demon to join the real world that was going into hiding itself. When she learned how the world ended where it was, Sephora's shoulders felt heavy with her knowledge. Being a stubborn, independent person, the girl doubles down on her resolve when the world she knows crumbles beneath her feet. What else could she do when her mere birth had done enough? Why involve people in matters that will not affect them otherwise? Not worth it, is it? First draft, please let me know any feedback you have!
