In 2077, Night City was voted the worst city in America. Results of a sky high violent crime rate and the more people living below the poverty line than anywere else. But something keeps people coming.

Some say it's the famous night life and parties, others say it's the constant upadrenaline rush of crime. Whatever it is, it keeps you going. Night City never sleeps, and neither do the people that live in it. Overwhelmed police struggle with hundreds of gangs, and the general citizenry live in run down apartments while the upper class live in shining top level penthouses.

Axel "Nightmare" Queen has lived in Night City since his birth, born and raised among the chaos.  It's almost become boring, but every day brings a new suprise. Whether it's a back alley brawl or high profile shootout, its never a dull moment.

Axel, in polite terms, is a private security contractor. In Night City, it means he's a mercenary. Whether it's providing security at a corporate event or assisting a gang in destroying their rivals, he's in it for the cash.All Rights Reserved
