Her parents run a small herbal shop, both witches. This helps keep the noticeable un-human traits of the town locals down to a soft roar, also helping Anova to see all aspects of town life. Her life has been nice and simple, perfectly planned with zero flaws... well so she thinks. Just around the corner from being eighteen, her parents, just like many other towns people around her, have kept one very dark secret from her: the town is wreaking with a hidden agenda... Those girls who go missing once a year? That's no coincidence, it's an auction. They're being sold in order to fulfill an old deal that was made a long time ago. But with that time just around the corner, who will be taken next?
