Kari just knew from the moment she woke up in the hospital her parents were meant to be.

Stemming from a dream she had when she was in a coma. Her dead aunt told her that her parents were meant to be and she had a job to do.

Kehlani never really took Dave serious from the moment she found out that he was Kari's father.
