From wingless birds to creative masters - voices can be silenced but there's nothing that can stop wild imagination when it strikes. So here's a small handful of the poetry I've been writing from my humble corner to the world at large.
These poems have been arranged into a series that explores the ups and downs between losing one's voice and the triumph of finding the creative power within. I hope you'll enjoy this little poetic ride while it lasts. [This book was started on the 27th of June 2018 and was completed by the 9th of July 2018]

Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?Concluída

Full of poems that I've written, am writing, will write. Maybe mostly about life and others are deep stuff and more... Some are happy and some are sad/dark. Some poem(s) I wrote about or related to a book/movie.etc. Others I wrote as a story in poem form. *checked my old poems recently and GORE, HORROR, BLOOD ALERT for some of the poems near the beginning!! Discovering My Mythical Fate Book 1
What if I told you that the things from our stories an Book 1d myths are 100% real and I have to save them? Crazy right? Trust me I know but it's true no matter how much I wish it wasn't. I thought I was just a normal 21 year old girl... Weeks after my classes let out I found out that had never been true. I had never been normal, I'd just been hidden away from the world, the real me hidden from even myself to keep me safe but more importantly alive so I could defeat the FIRST, the original, the one that made all other supernatural things, fantastic right? Hardly... I Tana Záchranca drew the short end of the stick in life. This is the me telling you the beginning of the end of my life...well kinda, there's betrayal, fighting, torture, death, love, supernatural creatures, and adventure, and I'd give it all up to be able to go back to my old life, but the last year has made it impossible for me to ever permanently return to my family...to anything. I'd Like to think I was a good person, before it all began. I didn't cheat on tests, or steal. But throughout my entire life, I was treated if I were a monster. At the age of five, after several agonizing tests, I was diagnosed with Reactive Attachment Disorder. But not even that title could describe just how strange I was. When another kid got hurt, I would cry. Whenever someone else was told a funny joke, I would laugh hysterically. People looked at me as if I were crazy- and for while I agreed with them. That was until I, Caddie Jones, was exiled to Nox Haven Academy, a school for truly special kids. Not the mentally ill, psychotic kind of special but the magical kind. Like witches, vampires, fairies and werewolves. Call me crazy if you want, you wouldn't be the first. But the stories are all true. The supernatural did exist and I was one of them. It's Okay to Use Your Big Girl Voice
Inside you will find a mixture of both, extremely RAW and refreshingly HEALING accounts of my personal war with my past. Unfortunately, Childhood sexual abuse is far too common, and many of share similar experiences. Looking back, what I could have used more than anything was someone to tell me "You're not alone, there is a lightness through the darkness, you can heal from this and most importantly don't EVER stop telling your story to make others comfortable". I've learned that silence is the best weapon for a predator, and I for one, have never been really good at doing what I'm told. I don't intend on starting now. I wear my scar as reminder that I hold the power in my own story, it is mine to tell and I won't make myself sick keeping quiet because my truths are hard to swallow, other people's comfort is not my problem. My Goal is rather simple, to let the readers know, they too are not alone. If you are a survivor, even if you still feel like a victim, this is my personal message to you. "You are strong, and it wasn't your fault. Tell someone... tell anyone...tell everyone... We shift from victims to survivors when we speak up and tell our stories. There's nothing wrong with you, and the light will shine again.
