Morrigan was a rogue.

And it has been that way since she was a pup.

Stereotypically, Rogues, in the werewolf community, were werewolf's that were more animal than human, they had very savage-like or destructive tendencies. And for that matter, everyone hated rogues of all types. Meaning, that if a rogue was spotted or made itself present, it was to be killed on sight. Those rules were made by the 'S.B.O.C.'. But that really wasn't the case for all rogues, some rogues were just like other supernatural beings, they just didn't like to be in packs. They would rather have more free will. And for that reason, they were killed. And as a result, many of them started forming their own packs to protect themselves but they are starting to become a problem. They're starting to evade different packs and killing and harming innocent pack members. They were becoming more vicious as revenge for their poor treatment.

But Morrigan wasn't as bad as people made her out to be. She has killed many people but that was only out of protection for her own wellbeing, she'd never hurt anyone if she didn't feel as though they deserved it.

But Morrigan's lone-wolf lifestyle changed the moment she decided to help a lost pup find her pack.

The same pack that had captured and killed her family...

"I didn't think that the first night at my new college would end with me getting my back broken. And not in the fun way. I'm kind of annoyed about it. Not how I wanted to kick this year off. I got into my dream school, University of Miami. Big change from New York but I've loved this school since I found out what college was. I was looking forward to this for a while. I had decided to spend my first two years at a nearby community college to get my pre rec classes out of the way and save money. It was definitely a good idea, but the vibe of the school was: go to class, go home, and that's it. So to get to a big university I was excited for that cliche "college experience." I was excited to get shitfaced at a frat party, hookup with random guys, join a sorority and probably regret it. It's where you're gonna make the most mistakes, I mean it's the first time most people have complete, or almost complete freedom. Every adult ever always told me "college is where you're supposed to find yourself" and I was really hoping that would reign true. To kick the year off I wanted to have a fun night out with my new roommates who weirdly didn't have any social media so I was moving in with no prior knowledge of these two other than their names Victoria Brooks and Chloe Whitlock. I wanted to get to know them and get to know the area I'd be living in for the next two years. So it was pretty inconvenient for this shit to happen on the first fucking night." * * * * * Morgan Sinclair had expectations for her junior year at her new college: parties, roommates, clubs, friends, even classes and assignments. Among those expectations, was not: finding out about the existence of vampires and the fact that she is one. After one *almost* fatal night out she's forced to navigate a whole new reality. Vampires, lycans, a psychopathic father, betrayal, and blood- and it'll all take her away from everything and everyone she's ever known.

Book 2 in the Rootbridge Pack series. You DON'T need to have read book 1 in order to enjoy this. You'll find a plot summary for An Alpha's Alpha (Book 1) in Chapter 1. J, has been through a lot. A harrowing upbringing was followed by her and her pack being chased by a murderous alpha, Caine, who was intent on owning and destroying J's Alpha, Cassidy. Now, finally, after years of being on the run, J is...safe. She's always been on the outside, a lone wolf with just enough humanity left to attach herself to Cassidy and her pack, but now she's being offered a life in a loving, safe pack, with friends who are practically family. For anybody else it would be a good thing, a chance at happiness, but for J there's just one obstacle standing in her way: The King is dead, long live the King. She may have killed Caine, but his pack need an Alpha and right now, they think it's her. Realising the biggest threat to her pack is herself, J forces herself to leave and set out on her own. She should have known it would never be that easy. Whispers have travelled about Cassidy's protector. About the woman more wolf than most. * Alpha of the Blackoath pack, Logan Black, has been watching J for a while now. Sure, he tried to stop himself but his wolf is obsessed and so is he. Knowing he can never truly have her, he resigns himself to being her unofficial stalker, protector and guardian angel. So, when an underprepared alpha tries to capture her, he readies himself to go to her defence, but he should have known better. As he watches J destroy the pack who'd been sent to capture her, he realises that maybe, just maybe, he's found the only wolf in existence strong enough to match him. Strong enough to be his mate. Strong enough to kill him. However, when it comes down to it, Logan can't quite bring himself to ask the woman of his dreams to end his life, so instead lets her go - and that's where it all goes wrong.

Vanilla, a lone werewolf with an unnaturally strong scent, belongs to the powerful vampire clan that rules the city. By day he can roam freely, work and live as he likes, but when night falls, he serves the vampires and their needs, whatever those needs may be. They adore him, treasure him, and hate to share him with anyone else. Vanilla doesn't mind it, they provide him security, protection, and care. But what happens when a pack moves in close by, one with a new Alpha that fears no vampire, and is looking for a mate to complete his pack? Vanilla finds himself struggling with choosing what he wants in life; who he wants to live with, who he wants to keep as a lover, and what is best for him and his werewolf nature. Amidst his struggle, someone lets slip that he's not exactly an ordinary werewolf, which only adds to the further-tangling mess he finds himself in. Who can he trust? Which side does he pick? What if he were to pick neither? A polished/edited version of this book is currently being written and will be available to purchase in the Kindle store. If you enjoyed this version of the book, please consider buying, it would be a great help! I will post an announcement on my profile when the new version is ready <3 *** FYI, someone has taken this story, translated it into Spanish, and posted it as their own work. They changed the title to Al Salir La Luna. The user was once Soy_Beto and then A_Piper, but I haven't found their newest account if they've made one. Please help me by reporting the story and helping other authors be aware of this guy and other people who steal stories under the guise of translating them. It's incredibly frustrating and enraging to know that people will just copy paste a story that I put time and effort into plotting and writing. I know Wattpad is free to read but stealing stories under All Rights Reserved copyright is still theft.
