"Tayir...", the thing brought out... shocked?... before lunging forward attacking their target: Robin.
Instead of the team's usual expectation Robin just stood there frozen in his place eyes wide open behind the mask.
It was almost like a freezing spell was used on the young hero by just this one word.

Failsafe, a seemingly harmless training exercise. That is, till Miss Martin's subconscious accidentally took control of it. He wasn't close with Megan anymore, cuz she blamed him for Connor and Wally's deaths. Wally cuz he lied to him and supposedly betrayed his trust and misused his role as leader. Kaldur just was disappointed, Connor was just more Stoic, Artemis was her usual self, but Robin distanced himself from her. What will happen when Robin's birthday comes around? What happens when his first and most hated enemy escapes prison? What happened when he gets ignored by his team on a mission and ends up getting gravely injured? "Hey!" Someone yelled, and we all stopped, turning to the voice which belonged to the girl I saw earlier, with the exception of Batman who took the opportunity to launch the nearest man to him across the bridge into the railing, where he slumped to the ground. The Joker was first surprised and then amused. "A new toy!" He squealed with delight. He walked closer towards her, having forgotten me giving me the opportunity to peel my right arm out, giving me a better angle to see and defend myself. While the Joker wasn't terrifying to look at, honestly, he was fairly unassuming, with the exception of the weapon and the deranged smile and look in his eye, but I had seen many people with a similar expression, he had a very off-putting aura around him. She seemed entirely unbothered as he lurked towards her. Then she did one of the stupidest things I have ever seen in my life. She climbed up the railing and jumped off, to the roaring, dark, cold water that was at least 20 feet below us. When the Young Justice team is introduced to a new member they are all somewhat uncertain of her, along with the Justice League. With powers unlike they've ever seen before and hailing from a different planet they are not sure what to think of her. She seems to be hiding something and Batman seems to know something about it. Others sat in silence, utterly defeated from the half day they had spent in that room with Talon and the utter fear he had made them feel when he hunted them all down. A hunter and its prey. They had been put closer together now as well, Talon had deemed that they could talk but they were still separated enough that none was within reaching distance of the other. But they didn't want to talk. Some of them wished it would end already, like M'gann. Some were struggling to keep up their sass, like Artemis. And some were trying to stay in control, not to let their emotions get the better of them because that's the boy they raised doing this god-forsaken things to them. But the control would not last. Everyone knew that at some point the Batman was going to break. And he was going to break the hardest. So they sat there, chained and restrained in their chairs, wearily watching him as silent tears fell to the floor and mixed in with the red of their fallen friends. Jason had been walking for nearly twenty-four hours and his hopes for finding anyone in the cave alive were dwindling with each second. But he had gone and done the noble thing, he had gotten help. Maybe the three of them could stand a chance at beating Talon, maybe they wouldn't. But they had to try, it was the right thing to do. So the trio headed to the cave, not stopping to rest for the night because they could feel the danger in the air, they could tell that this strange boy that had turned up on their doorstep was telling the truth.
