The Grand Run

Runing through the woods, trying to catch her breath, the girl hears a noise between the trees.

"Who's there?"

No answer

"Better show yourself before I shoot!
W H I C H I'm N O T afraid to do so!"

And there, slipping out from between the trees, stood in front of her, a young boy around her age.

"Hey, it's okay, I'm just here to help you." He said raising his hands up in defense.

"What do you want from me?" She asked threatening the young boy with her gun now pointing towards him.

"Like I said, I'm here to help you."

"Yeah? How am I sure your not one of them?" She asked gesturing her head back towards the men who've been trying to catch her.

"Well, it's either me you trust, or them? Pick one, oh and please, take your time."

The girl gives him stern look, and looks behind her, realising that the men after her, were now getting closer and closer to her and the boy.

"Okay . . . "

New styles, new technology, new people, an new environment, and most importantly, new rules.The government has stated that since time, the population over in North America is over flowing, meaning, per family, they're O N L Y aloud to have no more than one to two children in each family. If the government finds a family with M O R E than one to two children, the third born W I L L be eliminated.
