Whispers swirled in the eery silence and whirled in the mist. The hooded figure loomed above me...while I panted, laying helpless on the hard cold cement. She paused, listening for sounds of witnesses. When she heard none, she turned towards me with a sinister grin. Her eyes gleamed red in the dark silent alley. She raised a slender finger to her feminine lips as she spoke the last words I would ever hear. "Don't scream, my pet." Then she struck.

Run away

"can you tell me what you saw last night, sweetheart?" the man sat uncomfortably on the chair holding a clipboard. his eyes were as black as night, digging into every hidey hole her body is able to carry. too weak to even open her mouth she just sat and watched him stare at her waiting for her to speak but he knew that this was normal... when a father turns on his own family in the middle of the night, she wouldn't open her mouth even if she was threatened... again. the walls of the broken little girl had been sealed shut and what lays behind it are her dark unspoken thoughts of truth. "this will be over quicker if you would speak and explain to me what you feel. I know it might be hard right now... and I'm not promising that you will heal completely, but I will promise you that I will help you through all the recovery you are capable of. you just have to let me in now, your father... we are trying to find him, we need you to help so he can't hurt anyone else."
