"Something snarled in the darkness. As he started to slowly back away, his head hit the hanging light, causing it to sway. The lamp filled the interior of the shed with dancing shadows. Freddie suddenly had the feeling that he was being toyed with. He backed into the nearest corner in order to get a good look at his unwelcome visitor.
The hairs began to prick up on the back of Freddie's neck. Nervous beads of sweat dripped into his eyes. The suspended lamp, still swinging, cast an orange glow, then darkness. Orange, then darkness. Orange, then darkness.
Something emerged from the shadows directly in front of Freddie. His eyes widened in disbelief, not sure if what he was seeing was real."

FATE BEYOND THE NIGHTMARES
Kelvin was hunted by scary nightmares throughout his whole life but what could be scarier than to discover that the nightmares are actually his reality, not just that but he also has a destiny to fulfill. ******************************************** EXCERPT His mind was awoke but not his body, it looked like he was having sleep paralysis but deep inside he was struggling for his life. The same frequent nightmare. He was back in the familiar forest, all the settings were same but today was different. Kelvin was on his heels while the beast after him. He had seen the beast set a local hut that obviously had people inside it on fire, the agonizing cries filled the forest hunting his sanity and before long blood started oozing out of the hut. Kelvin was so frightened that he couldn't help a scream escaping his mouth and that's how the beast noticed him. The run was long and torturous for Kelvin, for reasons he can't tell his body was heavy and difficult to move and the creature was getting closer with each passing seconds. They continued racing racing until Kelvin lost it, he halted to catch his breath but then he saw the same creature in his front with an evil smirk on its face showing his big fangs, his elongated nails were dripping with blood. " No matter how long you run, you can't run away from me. It's your destiny that I shall destroy you and then there will be no more prophecy! The beast continued with a smirk as he comes closer bit by bit. The moment Kelvin tried to run again it stretched his hand and grabbed his shoulder pinching him with the sharp nails... [completed!] Under editing! Man kind, invincible and scared of nothing. We were the superior race, and we revelled in it. We all thought we were the ones at the top of the food chain, completely untouchable. However it was like I said, we 'thought' we were. In the darkness lurks a creature like no other, that prays upon us. Hunting us! Waiting for just the right moment to strike, to knock us off of our high pedestal and back onto the ground. I know this because I have seen this beast. Been face to face with it, battled toe to toe with this creature, fighting for what was left of my life, and I was losing! - - - - - - - - "Watch out!" I scream in alert, as a hard thudding sound pierced our ears as something slammed into our side of the car, sending a sensation of dizziness as the car spun of of control.
