When the earth was hit with a giant meteor, it caused the world to fall into chaos. People started to die from toxic gas and others started to change. Those who didn't die obtained a superhuman ability and gave them powers. During that, the land was starting to break apart. The world was shifting again and creating new lands. People went into a panic as all government and past civilization started to die. Gangs started to take over making their own types of livings.
Cody Shallows was kidnapped at the age of six after watching his mother and sister get killed in front of him. The kidnappers believed that he had the same ability as his father, water manipulation, but they thought wrong. He was the only triplet that was born powerless. When the kidnappers found out they decided to not go after the other brother and to use Cody as an experiment. For elven years, he was raped, beaten, and starved until the day their invention was complete.
