Reese Costa just wanted to get through her last year of high school with a mindset of having three thousand dollars in her bank account to make a living and go as far away as possible from her life in Vancouver.
Currently, she has $37 dollars in her bank account.
So the idea of spending that money in some exhibit for her stupid twin wasn't exactly what she thought was worth it. Especially if it would leave her on a huge debt and her dreams of escaping her prison life would become nearly impossible. Coming out of the exhibition with five hundred debt and some stupid crystal ball that would change colours depending on her mood was a sign that she was doomed.
Ayden Hawthorne didn't really care about his future, that had been decided since the day he was born. Son of a wealthy family he would become the next CEO, his mindset was that all he had to do was continue high school so he could go to Uni and take his father's place, with a girlfriend he's been wanting to break up with for a while but didn't have a legitimate excuse. Arrogance, superiority and looks were what radiated off him, with a cruel future he didn't really want to be in.
These two couldn't be more conscious about their future than ever and when they are bound to be together, the last thing Ayden thought was because of some stupid crystal ball that controlled him. The last thing Reese thought was finding someone who understood her just because of a crystal ball. Maybe the not-so-lost girl can have control over her prison life and over the arrogant son of a CEO out of all the things she didn't have control of, and maybe the once lost boy who didn't care about his future will start caring at the right place and right time. With the right wish.
