Quinn and many other kids and teens were captured by a cult in Canada and experimented on with chemicals and prosthetics that gave them special abilities. They planned to use them as weapons before Quinn was saved by the Avengers. Being a shapeshifter, they couldn't just let her roam around, it would cause panic. So they signed her on as the newest avenger.
Btw in this story Infinity War never happened so shut up😖😖
