Unlike other Quartz soldiers, they were not bred for brute strength but for superior strategy, logic, and precision. Each Phantom Quartz was unique, regarded as a treasured creation, a near-perfect fusion of power and intellect. But perfection is fragile. During the Gem War, when Homeworld saw no other option but to unleash the planet-wide blast, it meant sacrificing both Crystal Gems and their own forces. In one cataclysmic moment, nearly every Gem on Earth was presumed wiped from existence, including White Diamond's precious Phantom Quartz. But not all of them were lost. One Phantom Quartz remained, poofed before the corruption wave hit, trapped in a bubble by Rose Quartz for reasons unknown. Left to drift in forgotten ruins for centuries, he only reawakened in the present day, emerging into a world where Homeworld had abandoned Earth, the war was long over, and his kind had become little more than a myth.
His Mother's Son
The truth is out. Rose Quartz, the leader of the Crystal Gem rebellion, was Pink Diamond all along. It shocked all of the Gems, but Steven was the most affected. His anger now only grows, seeing that his mother, who he once looked up too, was nothing more than a coward, a murderer, and a liar. What pushes him over the edge is when Pearl and the other Crystal Gems still want him to be like her. Pearl doesn't realize, though, that she will set off a chain of events that nobody could've predicted, starting with her 'baby' going back to when it all began. The Strange Gem ( Gem!Reader x Steven Universe Various)
VERY VERY VERY VERY SLOW UPDATES! Many years ago, a gem emerged on the homeworld near the diamond palace. Pink, being the first one to recognize a gem emerging, told the other 3 diamonds about the information. As all four of them watched the new gem merge, it was discovered that the gem was born with two gems instead of one. Instead of shattering the gem, white diamond decided to keep them as they were a rare cut gem with an abnormal two gems instead of one. After the discovery, they decided to name the gem, Y/N. Y/N soon lived underneath the Diamonds and was treated as if she was a diamond herself. After Pink shattered, Y/N was heavily protected and had a harness around her at all times, always around either the diamonds or heavily guarded by two topazes and a jasper. After being allowed to roam around the Gem Warship, she was stopped by Steven who convinced her to help him find his friends and escape. After the explosion, she was founded by The Crystal Gems and was officially their 'hostage'. From being heavily guarded and kept within eyes sight and inside her whole life into being outside and experiencing many different emotions for the first time. This is when her story begins.

Maybe, the birth of this little girl, was why Rose knew she had to give up her physical form to create him? And maybe, the girl's mother was a close friend of Rose. Both served under the same Diamond, both talked about rebelling before Rose finally took that first step, but the other stayed behind to relay Intel. What if this was Pink Pearl, a very important part of the Rebellion. And Pink Diamond's very own Pearl. The very same Pearl who fell in love with an artist named Nick Nightwood about 5,300 years after the war. This is the story of her daughter. This is the story, of Stella.
