Two years after the events of the show, life is fairly peaceful in beach city. Pearl is happily in a relationship with Ruby and Sapphire. Steven is growing up and crushing on Connie. But suddenly, Pearl gets pregnant. Will the gang be able to raise yet another baby? How will this effect the crystal gems? Will their relationship be shattered, or blossom into something entirely new?
(Rating: PG-13-ish. There's a some cussing and mature themes ((death, pregnancy, implied sex but no sex scenes)) but nothing in the "Mature Rating" section of the content guidelines. Anyway, you have been warned)
Edit: I started writing this before reunited aired. I don't feel like changing the story so, um. In this fic the diamonds are still a threat.

Steven looks different compared to when he was kid, but after white diamond removed his gem he began to notice that something wasn't quite right so he went to the mirror and look at whats different and to his surprise, his hair was turning pink but thats not all he noticed, his Gem...it began to rotate to that of a diamond so he did the only thing he could think of, he went to the diamonds about this, so say they were shocked was an understatement, so white diamond began to explain that maybe when she removed his gem, the gem itself began to make changes because your human half can't take the diamond powers that are showing so it maybe changing you to be a half-Diamond, steven understood that his gem was only doing what it thought was protecting him. So he just let it happen even though it was hurting when his gem was rotating but white diamond said that it might take awhile for it to rotate. So he was just walking around in pain but doesn't let it affect him and he didn't tell the gems of the new changes yet.
