A legend about the beasts that used to roam the Earth, protecting it and others living there from the evil that lurked within the forests and shadows has since been forgotten. Replacing it with myths about men changing into rabid wolves and creatures that would suck the blood from any living creature. 

But why was it forgotten?

The hunter's main enemy are the werewolves. After years of war the hunters prevailed in killing the source of hope for the werewolf population, they killed the royal line, the Alpha and Beta of all shifters.
