Whenever that happens, their eyes turn red and their canines turn into sharp fangs, and they grow blood red horns out the tops of their heads, a sentiment to their magic. Normally, they would burn in the sun, but some of the stronger vampires have learned blood magic and can make jewelry that protects them from the sunlight. The only way to kill them, silver through the heart, or sunlight. Normally vampires would use their blood magic to turn a human into a vampire after forcing the human to drink vampire blood, but every once in a while, a human that is drained of blood will turn into a vampire instead of dying. The first way is painful, but the second way, puts you through a unimaginable pain that makes you wish you had died.
