- I'm Esme . A normal half Vampire half human 17 year old girl with black hair, pale skin, and green Eyes. My mother died when I was born and my father left me at 5 years after. So, I was raised by a human my uncle he told me to not hurt humans but to drink animal blood. So Full vampires would call me vegetarian.
I'm as strong as them with my powers but I need human food, sleep, and blood.
Overall I just need the bad memories to go away.

I am not young by vampire terms. New and young vampires, are "Newlings". Until a vampire is at least one hundred years old, they can't turn a human into a vampire, and are considered a Newling. But I'm what we call a "Maturling". Maturlings are at least a century old. In vampire years, I'm one hundred, on the dot. Though in human years, I'm about twenty-four. There is a third category of vampires called "Purelings". Purelings are vampires who have always been － well, vampires, － and have never had a single human in their family tree.
