Yasmine was new at school and had no friends. When popular boy Isaac Shelton starts talking to her she doesn't think anything's wrong. That's until Yasmine's father passed away and when she needed him most he decided to abandon her. Fast forward four years and Yasmine isn't the same naive girl who thinks the best of everyone. She's made her own friends that she knows she can rely on and is surviving as best as she can in high school. With only a year left to go, what could go wrong. Isaac is a 'cool' kid who gets anything and everything he wants. He has the looks, the grades and the girls. He has every thing except loving parents.Yasmine is the opposite. Until a series of unfortunate events gets Yasmine and Isaac stuck in detention. Join Yasmine through the trials and tribulations of high school. And see if true love is real after all. A/N this is our first book so be generous when reading. There are few cliches but that's what makes the book great. (In our opinions). HOPE YOU ENJOY!!

Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
