It had been almost a year since Charity Mariposa made her grand entrance as the new girl in Alley, TN - rich, snobby, and too pretty to befriend. Although she still hated this new life and new place - it was getting easier and less awful with each rooster's crow. She was finally making friends with the in crowd, started getting a little taste of independence and freedom again in the form of a 1 bedroom whatwereyouthinking right above the bank, and even sort of had a secret admirer-turned-boyfriend. She was finally starting to feel somewhat comfortable in this little hick town.. until her first month there hunts her down like prey and rips her whole world apart, leaving her an empty shell of her former self. She has to figure out who is safe to turn to anymore, how to go about ensuring justice is served in this "good ol' boy" system county, and find the strength to stay when all she really wants to do is run away.
This is a story depicting the real dangers of jealousy and love, the true crimes within crooked justice systems, and the power of God and prayer.

**Trigger warning: One Character deals with cutting** Marley Hart, Leeanna Morgan, sisters Summer & Lauren Black, Amanda Tanner & little Madison Brown are the girls of Charity. Each of them has arrived at the Charity Home for Girls for a different reason. Summer & Lauren are there because their parents died & there was no one else to care for them. While Marley waits for her mother to come & take her away tona wonderful new life - one that will never happen. All is well in their samll world until the day the girls collide with the rich of Charity, Connecticut. They attend the local school & try to fit in but everyone knows where they live & the circumstances of why they are there. Unaware that the towns gossip is targeting the girls as unworthy & not respectable they each struggle to fit in & to achieve the popularity & happiness that they desire. Sometimes at a high cost. In the tough times that lie ahead will the girls fall victim to the towns gossip? Or will they learn to trust in the people they care for & who care about them by discovering the true meaning of friendship & family? I always make sure to disclose that even though I work long and hard hours on all my books that they are by no means perfect. There are mistakes from grammar and punctuations. The Girls of Charity is my first self-published book and when I wrote it, I didn't have a great program on my laptop to help me make corrections as best as I possibly could.
