A Darling in the franxx story set roughly 10 years in the future.

this is set as if the anime finished differently then it did were instead of hiro and zero two dying and being reincarnated as kids and meeting again, they defeat the virm and come back safely and join the rest of their friends in the new civilisation with all the kids there as well.

you as a reader will take a look into the lives of our favourite plantation 13 residents now adults and how they deal with things like love, the world and life as grown up Franxx Pilots.
This will contain couples that are both official and non official like Hiro and Zero two and Mitsuru and Kokoro being the official couples in the anime and unofficial ones like Zorome and Miku and Ichigo and Goro.

Everything was looking good for Yui, she was in her second year of college at the San Fransokyo Institution of Technology and had a badass reputation as a bot fighter. Then, in a flick of a flame, her life came to a halting stop. It seemed Yui had nothing..... that is until she ran into frantic Hiro who's chasing down wandering Baymax. Suddenly Yui is tossed into a high speed chase running from a guy in a Kabuki mask. What happens when her school projects are transformed into a weapon and super suit to help save San Fransokyo from terror? Not long after Zero Two and Hiro reunite, the members of squad 13 return to base for some much needed rest and relaxation. Although Doctor Franxx notices some strange readings coming off the squad's Franxx during some standard repairs. These strange events include the mech's faces appearing when not pilots are present in the cockpit and the act of moving on their own. Eventually these strange occurrences lead to a shocking discovery, the Franxx have come to life and have personalities that are combinations of both their pilot's personality's. To soon go into action after discovering a gang fight was about to go down, where innocents could get hurt. But little to your knowledge, there was already a hero group in the city.
