Two dragon riders faced each other, as shadows danced wildly on their face.
Two pairs of golden eyes, one etched with hate and another filled with longing.
Fire and Ice stood both guard, as air and earth paved path for them.
Both so different, yet so alike.
Blood relations lost in the haziness of hatred. Memories long-forgotten.
Both dragons charged, the moment of silence bygone.
And the Great Battle was fought, yet again.

Amber Talen joins the elite group of sword fighters known as the Sword Wielders, violating her father's orders. Her vivid dreams of an emerald dragon confuse her for she was not a Dragon Rider, but a Sword Wielder with skills of no match of a Rider's. She travels to the Academy of Dragons, to train to be the protector of the Dragon Riders.
Amid war, unbearable truths face her, while she has to face the crown princess of Aramandele. The Princess of Darkness.
