This novel was created by a group of multiple people with different beliefs. The book we have written is complete and purely fiction, with a plot that we spent years brainstorming. We took elements of fantasy, mythology, and science fiction and poured them into this novel, as well as adding our own ideas, thoughts, and creativity to it.

High Arch: Beginnings is a book that was made for pleasure reading; we by no means worship the occult, and we do not wish to offend religious readers.

Death's Shadow, Life's Thread

48 parts Complete

For years, the city has feared magic, but The Cleansing's killing spree against magicals ignited full-scale unrest. Though Zara, a necromancer, and Kage, a shadow-wielding detective, stopped him, The Cleansing became a martyr, fueling the rise of the Sovereign Order, a group bent on erasing magicals. As tensions rise, a new horror emerges-people found drained of life, their blood drawn from their bodies. The city fears Bloodspawn, but when Kage and Zara track him down, they find Malrick, a terrified orphan with rare Bloodborn magic-a power feared even among magicals. He never meant to kill, but without control, he's dangerous. And the Sovereign Order wants him dead. Determined to help him master his power, Zara and Kage take Malrick in, but as more magicals vanish and the Order tightens its grip, they must ask: Can Malrick be saved, or will his magic ignite a war? A story of magic, redemption, and found family, Death's Shadow, Life's Thread explores the fine line between destruction and salvation-and what it truly means to be feared.
