Kokichi Ouma then develops feelings for another male in the school later on. who? you may ask, shuichi saihara, the detective.
in this story Kokichi will be going through some mental illnesses/disorders such as,
anxiety, depression, insomnia, sleep paralysis, etc. please, if any of these things trigger you, I don't suggest reading.
also BIG self harm warning!!
I am IN NO WAY trying to encourage self harm or the faking of mental illness or disorders!!
UPDATE: I've decided to make this a normal!school AU instead of the regular targeted killing game OG. I just don't like the idea of all the characters slowly being killed off, leaving me with not as much to write!!

(First book of the trilogy) Kokichi, a kind, extroverted boy, moved out to a new city and dropped out in a new school: Spring Field Academy, he quickly made friends here and became one of the popular students, but soon after a few weeks, he notices that one of his classmates is left out from everybody else. Kokichi never saw that boy speak to anyone, neither did he hear him talk in the first place, so of course he decided to try and befriend this lonely boy. This is a non-stereotypical pregame Saiouma story where there is no stalker-ish creepy Shuichi or uwu boy Kokichi, just their ingame personalities with a few changes here and there, I hope you will like this fluff story, there may be some angst here and there or other things, but I'll just put warnings in chapters for people uncomfortable with it :D contains: angst violence smut (the smut part will be separated from other chapters so that people that don't wanna read it would be able to skip it) aaand a lil bit of hidden lore you could try finding out with some clues, I know that there will be detective readers hungry for some lore 🔍 but you still have to find what could be related to a hidden lore 🤭 I could maybe, just maybe give you some hints! enjoy the fanfic!Terminé

[NON-KILLING GAME AU] Shuichi Saihara is attending his first year in Uni (College/University). (This means he's an adult, so obviously some dirty stuff will be in here, but nothing too unholy so that way we're still somewhat close to Atua. Either way, this takes place in Japan and the age of consent there is 13 anyway-) Shuichi decided to purchase a dorm room, since he figured it would be much easier to live on campus instead of drive to school everyday.., he heads to his dorm to find three other individuals whom share the same dorm as him. Kokichi Ouma, Kaito Momota, and Kiibo. This is where the story begins! - Yes, Shuichi is BOTTOM. I didn't realize until just now that the order that you put the names in a ship was relevant to who's top and who's bottom. So, this is actually only Oumasai since Kokichi is top. Sorry for any confusion there might've been. - None of the art I use in this story rightfully belongs to me, so please keep that in mind. hi hi ! this is my first actual fanfic so it might not be very good . ive seen some people do a phantom thief au and ive wanted to do one for such a long time ! hopefully its not too similar i tried to make this one different somehow. the basic plot is shuichi is working on a case to unmask the phantom with kokichi who is basically living a double life as the phantom thief and decides to have some fun with it and shuichi has no idea . anyways this contains no actual smut only mentions of it ! and no tws as well :) hope you like! completed!Terminé

Heads up: this is old and quite frankly embarrassing to have on my account. The only chapter that might even be worth reading would be the last one, but even then, it's still very cring-worthy. This is a Saiouma (or Oumasai if you prefer that ship name) fanfiction. I'm sure that much was obvious, though. This will have smut, angst, and fluff. Everyone is meaner than in the normal game but they still have the same personalities. Kokichi is his normal cheerful,annoying self but the others treat him like trash after figuring out who he really is. Kokichi is quickly affected by their behaviour,with the stress of the killing game and the hate of everyone and his past,he turns on his body,but he hides it so well,no one expects it,he was always harmful to his body because of his horrible past even in school,it just becomes worst as he meets everyonr else,but then someone finds out. Shuichi. He was one of the mean people to Kokichi but after seeing him like that,he wanted to help. Will Kokichi trust Shuichi after all he's done? Will their relationship blossom into something more than friends? (By the way,everyone is trying to figure out how to get out of the dome they are trapped in,there's no killing,Monokuma just traps them their for fun and he's their to watch over them.) Unfortunately, between their encounters, they start developing feelings for each other, making Shuichi's job more difficult.
