Lucy never thought it would be her. She always made sure to be unnoticed, she sat in the corner of the room, kept her head down, and stayed away from crowds. No matter what she did this day had to come though. He turned 16, like she did 3 months ago, which means he knows. His wolf will be howling causing hers to react. She will run, she refuses to be attached to someone ever again. She will do anything to avoid feeling the bond that surrounds her.
Kaleb did not know what to do. He stared at Lucy, the girl he has always secretly liked, and knew this will not end well. He knew something happened to her, she pushed away from everyone she once loved after her parents died. He knew this would be hard, but for his mate he would fight till his dying breath.
