"Camila. Camila, stay with me." Lauren placed her hand firmly on Camila's thigh to keep pressure on the deep cut. "I'm not losing you again."

"Shit," Lauren muttered underneath her breath as the bleeding poured vigorously.

Lauren frantically took off her jacket to add more pressure on the wound.

"Lauren."

Camila winced as her girlfriend tied the jacket tight across her thigh. She placed her hand on Lauren's forearm that was smeared with blood and used all her willpower to speak, "hey look at me." 

"No. Shut up and let me save you." Lauren didn't remove Camila's touch and continued working on her leg.

Camila lightly squeezed Lauren's arm with whatever strength she had left to get the older girl's attention. Lauren looked down at chocolate eyes and couldn't keep her own from welling with tears.

"Remember what we said," Camila muttered, "Whatever it takes."

Lauren let her tears roll down her cheeks freely after hearing Camila's soft voice again.

"Leave me."
