I stumble backwards slightly before a hand wraps around my waist, keeping me from falling. Looking up, I realize this wasn't a wall, but instead a very attractive male. A very messy, but definitely sexy, mop of black hair sat on top of his head. When I looked closer, I realized that it was a deep shade of brown that was probably often mistaken for black. My gaze traveled to his eyes, where I found two deep ocean blue eyes looking at me. I kept going further down to his too crooked nose to be called straight, which I assumed came from too many fights. His skin was tanned, but an olive tone suggested he had a natural darker complexion to begin with. My eyes finally found his pink, very plump lips which were resting slightly open. His lips jerked up into a lopsided sneer as his hand snapped back to his side. The sudden movement left my back cold, as if his palm had been a source of warmth. "You've got to be kidding me!" His tone dripped with disgust. My eyes turned to questioning as I looked back up into his eyes. I brought my hand up to rub my nose, squinting at the slight pain. "What the hell." He grumbled. "I, Jay Julian, reject you as my mate." He, or Jay, said with venom lacing his voice. He quickly turned and walked down the now vacant hallway with no glance back. Rejection? What the hell was that? Was it some sort of local lingo? How did I get rejected on my first day? The first person I make eye contact with at this school rejects me. I guess that's how this school works, if the hottest boy in school rejects you, you're a nobody. If that's how this small town school worked, then I was screwed. The disease destroys the body from the inside, causing organs to burst, poisons bloodstreams, shuts down vital organs, causes the bones to crystallize and in severe cases, welcomes in the other diseases. The only way to fight such a disease is through the power of will. Only the will to survive can best the disease, causing it to slowly go away as the body fights back. As the victim wants to survive and fights the disease, the better chance they have. But, everyone who has caught the disease gives up hope, and dies a slow and brutal death. This disease is known as Stigma X, or STX. Meet Ashley Reynolds, an 18 year-old girl, who is a senior in high school. Ashley comes from a family who grants her nothing but misery, and hates her very existence. When Ashley caught the disease at the end of her freshman year, the rejoicing coming from Ashley's family caused her heart to falter, and soon found herself welcoming death. For her senior year, Ashley moves into her aunts mansion in order for Ashley to live the life every child deserves. There, Ashley encounters new friends and a guy who has changed her outlook on life. However, the disease inside of Ashley is starting to eat away at her, and the attacks from it causing her excruciating pain. Will Ashley give up on life before she gets a chance to live it out properly? Will the anguish and suffering Ashley endured for her entire life be too much for her to want to continue living?Complete

Into the woods I find a pine tree. Perfect! Pine trees are great hiding places. The branches hide you visually and the smell masks your scent.
