It's the year 2725 and everything is going great for the world. There's no more war, no famine or disease, we've found an alternative energy source for...everything, and everyone is happy. Well, that's at least what the Officials think. Narri knows better. The world has advanced, technology has advanced, animals have advanced, and most of all people have advanced. It's very uncommon, rare even, to get the Gene, and most of the time people live their lives never knowing they have it. The Gene is power. The Gene is life altering. The Gene is terrifying to the Officials. If found at an early age, the Gene can be terminated and the person will go on living a normal, healthy life. If found in a later on age, the Gene can change your life forever. Whether for the good or bad, Narri wants to find out.

REVISED EDITION COMING OUT MONTHLY/COMPLETED In a world overrun by zombies, A single bite heralds doom - except for Kaindra, who defies death itself, being undead already. ******** As humanity struggles to adapt to the new reality of zombies-infested streets and lurking supernatural creatures from ancient myths and legends, survival becomes an ever-evolving challenge. Survival is a constant battle not only against the undead but also against supernatural creatures and their zealous followers. The relentless onslaught of zombies and the mysterious reemergence of mythical beings push society to its limits. Civilization's last bastions fall one by one, teetering on the brink of collapse. As these ancient myths awaken, they reveal intentions that are far from clear- some may hold the key to salvation, while others could herald further doom. The question remains: Can humanity unravel the mysteries of these legendary beings in time to save themselves, or will they fall prey to the very legends they once dismissed? ___ Excerpt: Taking a deep breath, I lean closer to the mirror, my skin prickling. I thought it was a trick of the light, but as I stare at my reflection, my fragile lies crumble away. The reflection staring back at me feels unrecognizable. My once deep, dark brown eyes now glimmer with an otherworldly light, like twin moons suspended in a sea of silver. The faint glow within them swirls softly, catching the dim flicker of flame I summoned, like ripples across a moonlit lake. Their alien intensity sends a chill down my spine. The orbs seemed to hold a universe within, depths of endless mysteries and ancient wisdom beyond my grasp. ___ Warning: Mentions of suicide and self-harm Beautiful cover made by @scmimi. The year was 2157 when Earth crumbled and governments fell. Most living things died and their was a silence on earth that was deafening. The first particles of disease fell in North America in the Spring of 2157 and began to scatter and mutate into virus and bacteria. Bombs sailed through cities leveling Government buildings, business and residential. Historians call this period Decay. Ricin poisoning and nerve gases were released. Citizens began to fall ill and die quickly. Later historians found out that a few middle east countries, China and Russia poisoned all food with Ricin. The food was then shipped to US, Canada, UK, many European countries. This period is only known as "Decay' Some humans survived. Either from paranoia or luck, so the stories go. The paranoid ones were waiting for the first signs of a fallout and when it began they hid in their underground 'storage containers'. These were completely sealed once someone closed the door. The doors were automated and within 2 to 5 years depending on the setting chosen the doors would automatically open. The history of the 'lucky ones' is that they knew someone who had a container and welcomed them, or they hid in the container until the family that owned it got in and sealed the door. And hope they would not be killed for trespassing. Now it is 2243. The world has drastically changed. In this world the 'Owners' and 'Potentials' rule the 'communities'. Guards police, keeping communities separated. The Powers rule over what was once called North America now simply called East Nation North (ENN). Superiors handle their community they are assigned to. Under the Powers, Superiors, Water Protectors, Guards, owners and potentials come the animal breeders next on the hierarchy. Then the last three levels don't really matter to anyone. Those are the baby breeders, slaves and throwaways. They have no say in anything.

COMPLETED, IN THE PROCESS OF EDITING To our creators, it was a simple plan. They would send us in, wait for us to take out the Prime Order Director, and then make sure we were never heard from again. By killing us, they would become heroes, and the world would see what we were capable of. People would see that the future was in Paragons like us. But they didn't realize just how powerful we were. They didn't count on us turning on them. Now the Prime Order wants to hide us from the world. They want us to forget who we are and what we can do. They think they can succeed in controlling us, but they won't. Our creators will come for us, but when they do, we'll be ready. They may have their machines and their weapons, but we have each other. And we have our powers. We are Paragons. We are Skyfall. In a future where genetic modification and robotic armor suits are commonplace, Katana Wilder just wants peace for herself and her adopted family. She wants to forget her years of training as an assassin and live a normal life. But when the company that created them comes back for revenge, she must put aside her reservations and fight for her freedom.
