We never really know what exactly happens to Matthew Holt in the Netflix original series Voltron: Legendary Defender. After being captured by the Galra during the Kerberos mission, we know that Shiro saved him from the Gladiator and that the Rebels rescued him from the Galra prision. Otherwise, we have no idea what happens to him. Based off of some of what we do know, along with elements of my own, this is what I think could have happened to Matt.

Klance :: Not So Different
Lol, first Klance! Hope you all enjoy! Keith has been haunted since he fought with the Druid. His hand... It just healed... That wasn't a normal thing. Then Zarkon... The emperor told Keith he fought similar to his Galran soldiers. That had honestly scared him. So when the paladins are reunited after being spread throughout space, he tries to hide his insecurities and fears and pain. However, he can't hide it for long. And he never thought Lance could actually smile so kindly, let alone smile at him. I do not own Voltron: Legendary Defenders or the characters!!! I also do not own any pictures used.Complete

Finding Hope ~ [Voltron WA 2018]
The first thing Pidge remembered was the ringing in her ears. But slowly with effort, she was able to make out voices. She didn't dare open her eyes out of fear. But never the less she laid there and listened to the voices speaking. "I found the rebel and I'm on root now" the first voice spoke. "Why do I hear a but coming?" Stated the second. "Well um," said the first "Well?" Scolded the second voice "Well, I have something else I believe Lord Zarkon would be pleased to have." the voice quickly uttered. "And what might that be?" Stated the second voice sounding rather bored with the conversation. "A paladin of Voltron" _________________ This takes place session 4 episode 2, where Pidge finds Matt... but different. The paladins were about to visit a uninhabited planet to have a break from all the fighting. It was said that the planet would react differently to certain alien races. Princess Allura had checked that it was safe for Alteans and Humans and it was perfectly fine. However, there is a certain race she didn't check... To Earth (COMPLETE)
**First Klance fic Lance and Keith were always neck and neck and rivals. They rarely spoke to each other and only knew things about each other that they told the whole team, Shiro, Pidge, Hunk, Coran and Allura. They were always off doing their own things and never did things together unless it was for a mission. On such a mission the team got split up. Hunk and Pidge went to a different planet to help people, and so did Coran and Allura. Shiro, Keith and Lance go on another mission to a planet where no one lives. They need to find a special living plant on the planet to make the Cryogenic Pods work properly again. Shiro choose the two boys because they always fought, but he hopes they won't now. When the mission is near Earth, Lance gets extremely homesick. Maybe, they end up taking a visit... Start: February 23, 2017 End: March 15, 2017Complete
A Dance- Voltron: LD; ShiroxPidge
AU! Katie "Pidge" Holt has lost both her father and he brother, leaving her with her unstable mother. She's extremely tom-boyish and intelligent- not the type boys are into. She's close friends with her coworkers, but she refuses to tell them her past. Her world is flipped upside-down by a veteran with a mechanical arm and broken memory... ~ Lol, sucky description really sucks, idk. Anyway, somehow, my life got sucked into a plethora of anime all at once and this one (Voltron: Legendary Defender) is screaming in my head the most as well as Miraculous Ladybug and Hetalia (totally different plotted animes). Anyway, I decided to finally write a fic aboug Pidge and Shiro because I think they are too cute together. I'm still working on shipping other characters. Idk. Anyway, please enjoy. I do not own Voltron: Legendary Defender or any of the characters used in this story aside from whatever ones I for some reason or another decide to make up. Please do enjoy, thanks for reading my crap. (Other couples may be implied and smutty scenes may occur, depending on how this goes. Mainly major fluff and maybe some triggers)Complete
Hunted - Voltron Fanfiction
(Completed as of August 2018) Zarkon set out for finding and capturing all Galra hybrids that weren't already a part of his empire- including Keith Kogane, the Red Paladin of Voltron. He had put Lotor in charge of taking "care" of each hybrid accordingly. Team Voltron spent months trying to evade Lotor's eager hands, protecting Keith at all costs. While Lance battles his feelings for his hot-headed space-ranger cowboy partner, Prince Lotor swoops in to steal away Keith's heart. Who will win? [Some smut, mild!] (Artist: Kirii)Complete
Damaged Beyond Repair
Lance knows that he's annoying. He knows that he's a flirt, and that his jokes are always terrible. That's why the kidnapping by the Galra fleet, didn't bother him all that much. His team would just be better off without him getting in the way of everything. He just slowed them down. The Galra need information. Every blow they shot at the paladins of Voltron, didn't seem to do much. The capture of the Blue Lion and its rider was what they needed to find out how to win against the pesky earthlings. Keith, Hunk, Pidge, Shiro, Coran, and Allura are worried. With Keith stressing himself out over the wellbeing of his kidnapped friend, and Pidge looking all over for said friend, the paladins of Voltron are not on their best. Not without Lance. ________________________________________ Disclaimer: I do not own Voltron: Legendary Defender (darn do I wish) I just own the plot of this book:))) Story about the kidnapping of the smol bean that is Lance.
