Theodore Lewis and Clover Dana, childhood friends, end up as runaways after a series of magically unfortunate terrible events unfold.  After entering a realm they were not prepared for they find hope in a mysterious group that says they can help.  But in the darkness of time itself lurks creatures that feed off of anyone who tries to enter ruled by a demon with unimaginable power and strength.  Throughout their journey the two best friends face challenges of change, love, new people, things they never could have imagined possible, and a new way to look at the world.

"Aw now isn't this sweet."  The creature hovered closer to us, lowering his arms.  Those red eyes pierced us like a bayonet, we had no where else to go.  

"What is wrong with you, if you're just going to kill us, why don't you do it already?"  I said helping Clover to her feet.

"Haven't I made that clear, it's like you're not even listening.  I practically OWN you two, I can kill you without lifting a finger, it's that easy.  But I'm not going to do that because you two are much more fun to play with.  I will simply have to put off killing you for a later date."  He rolled his eyes before breaking into a grin, those wretched teeth sparkling in the deep dark abyss we had found ourselves in.

"What the hell are you?"  I said desperately, attempting to find a way out of this place.

"I am a demon, fallen angel, belial, drude, whatever you want to call me but I go by Dorinol."  He extended his arm before me as if to shake it, but just stared at me, grinning.  He raised his head and retracted his arm back to his side, chuckling lightly.  "I hope you enjoy your stay."All Rights Reserved

I finally escaped the factory, they kidnapped me from my college. Today is my birthday, and I had planned for it but nothing helped, only calming me down for the moment. A scream echoed out in the silent starry sky, my body freezing... They were looking for me, I just knew it. Again, I ran and jumping over the fence to the property, muscles burning, my breathing short. I look behind me, not seeing the light of the school anymore. I slow down, holding my breath again. Looking around, only trees and bugs surround me. I slowly sank to my knees, gripping the grass in between my fingers, to keep my breathing calm. Tears springing to my eyes and brushing the tears away, slowly getting back to normal. Suddenly, I felt someone behind me. I could feel its strength and power surround me, turning around to see a dark figure behind me. Glowing blue eyes stared at me, seeing it slowly walk toward me. My breathing becoming short again, a panic attack was on the verge. A hand was now on my shoulder and another on my cold cheek, making me look into his eyes, "Let me help you..." He whispered. Rubbing his thumb against my cheek, I slowly nod my head, when a pain began to form in my chest. I knew it was coming. I quickly get away, crawling a couple feet away. "Get away!" I yelled. My skin turning white and the pain erupting inside of me, feeling it try to escape, and I know if I let it. It will hurt this man. Suddenly, he was there in my view. Blue eyes staring at me, and then his lips were on my own. Gasping as I felt the pain beginning to disappear from inside me. Eyes drooping and my body relaxing against his. Soon, the kiss ended and I was empty. My eyes closing. "Don't worry, I will keep you safe..."

Which is hard when I have Dimitri's abnormally large hand around my throat and his eyes are glowing purple and his fangs have came out. I am on the verge of fucking passing out with tears welling up in my eyes. All this happened because Aphrodite told me to come in this forbidden room to get a formal dress and whatever jewelry I shall need for the ball that is coming up. I had ran my hands over all the gorgeous gowns in this room before deciding on a red chiffon cinderella ball gown that had this gorgeous sweetheart neckline. I tried to find the jewelry she had mentioned when I spotted a small wooden jewelry box with their family crest on it. I had opened the box to find 4 rings. Two larger ones and two smaller ones. All four had their family crest on it with a ruby in the center of the rings. Dimitri had walked by the opened door and saw me looking in the box. And this is how I have ended up with his hand tight around my throat. Slam "I told you never to come in this room!" Dimitri roared. His hand is slowly tightening around my throat. It's getting harder to try to get out of his hold. "I.." He interrupted me. "You what!?" He yells. "Can't." I couldn't finish my sentence. "I can't hear you!" He growls low and dangerous. "Breathe!"
