Known for being in a relationship that's wonderful to the public's eye but unhealthy behind the scenes with fellow model, Min Junho, Maiya Kyo has been modeling since she was fourteen and is focusing more on her career and less on her two year relationship. Her goal is like most models; to walk in the Victoria's Secret fashion, but she can't accomplish her goal without her manger Kim Hyojin, and her best friend Elang Halim by her side.

Along with false rumors about dating EXO's Sehun who's coincidentally a long-time friend, Maiya Kyo has dealt with sexism for being a woman, racism for being Korean and Japanese, and worst of all, bullying. Since the fifth grade Maiya has been a victim of severe bullying which caused her to switch schools numerous times and even attempt taking her own life when she was fifteen. Despite her talent and potential, Maiya couldn't find meaning in her existence. Her own mother kicked her out of their house when she was thirteen, and she was forced to live with Elang Halim until they both graduated high school and bought their own places.

One day, Maiya's manager snipes her an extraordinary opportunity for the company, ROJO. It would've been just a regular gig if it weren't for SM's most treasured boy group, EXO, being a part of the monster-themed photoshoot as well.
