The Transfer: A Glee Fanfiction

Since Kurt transferred to Dalton Academy, Rachel's life has been miserable. She misses her friend, the only one who understood how she felt when bullies called her names or threw slushies in her face. Being at McKinley has become torturous, and Rachel can't take it anymore. She makes a decision that will change everything for her and for the rest of the New Directions: she is transferring to a different school. With Regionals right around the corner, what are the New Directions going to do without their star performer?
This is set mid-season 2, somewhere between "A Very Glee Christmas" and "The Sue Sylvester Shuffle". I've changed a few details from the show (like the New Directions' competition at Regionals, for example) for plot's sake. This is probably going to be pretty long, so the chapters are going to be longer than in the other stories.

The rivalry between New Directions and Blaine's old group, the Warblers, intensifies en route to regionals. When a member of New Directions is badly hurt, they are left to have surgery. In honour of Valentine's Day, Will challenges the New Directions to find and perform the world's greatest love songs. Blaine gets Joe, Mercedes, Sam, and Quinn to perform a song for Ashleigh. Things heat up as the New Directions go head-to-head with the Dalton Academy Warblers at regionals. Blaine's big brother and Hollywood actor, Cooper, comes to pay him a visit. When Ashleigh finds out that Sue has completely stripped McKinley of all arts, Ashleigh convinces the Lima Superintendent to reinstate the Glee Club, but he insists that they need to find someone to lead it. Blaine has also returned to Lima to try and get Ashleigh back, but she severed their engagement, and that's why he flunked out of NYADA.
