After 3 years after Frisk flee the monsters from the Underground. She lives happily up on the surface with her new family of monsters. Well with Toriel, Asgore, Undyne, Alphys, and Flowey left to Washington D.C to meet the president. Sans and Papyrus are left to watch Frisk till Toriel returns home. Chara has plans to take control of Frisk. He wants her soul and to Reset the world again. There is however another person whom lurks beneath the shadows that Sans and Papyrus kept secret from Frisk. Now it's all going to be reveal. So many mystery to solve and secrets to uncrack. Frisk will soon have to face her fears and overcome Chara's evil plans. With the help of old and new friends. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? Only one way to tell... ~o0o~ Disclaimers before you start! •There is NO fanon ships. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this, and they will not be shipped with anyone. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. It won't be unnecessary or excessive, only when it fits the situation and character. I will not be using any slurs, as that's just plain disrespectful, even if some of them apply to me. Credits: Undertale, obviously, created by Toby Fox and Temmie Chang. "The Time Before" by ANinnyMouse42 is the backstory for Sans in this AU with some adjustments (mainly since that was very close to my original idea before I read it and I don't want people to think I copied their masterpiece or smth, if you haven't read it please do so, it's really good). Some things will be in reference to the other books in the trilogy or "From War to Science" by Emotistic-optimistic. If you haven't, read that too. It's really good (along with its sequel). This is an Undertale AU I originally planned on making back in 2019 but, I wasn't capable of making all the character designs and forgot about it for two years. A few months ago, I thought about redrawing the only two designs and reviving it as well as changing most of the original plot and instead of making a comic series, I'm writing it so it will be easier to think about more designs. Ever since the death of his younger brother. Things have gone downhill in the surface world for Sans. Alphys died a few months after Papyrus to a disease, Mettaton and Undyne, especially Undyne, had fallen into a depression. Flowey dissapeared into mt. Ebott, not to be found and Sans is fighting depression and insanity. One day, Sans discovers a suspect to his brother's death. A being that is trapping anyone who had either fallen into Mt. Ebott or stayed behind in snowdin for a while. Sans, along with Frisk and Undyne, go into the underground themselves to confront this being. They must encounter the Bloodfall that traps and kills anyone who dares pass by waterfall. (This takes place after a true pacifist run if one killed Sans in a Genocide run, but reset their game before getting to Asgore(I did this in a way to quit the Genocide route). This is if Frisk choses to do this the Pacifist way. I might make a Genocide one in Story Shorts. Also, My Sans is a human, but feel free to interprate him as a Skeleton if you ever choose to use this AU. Just credit me!)
